Frequently Asked Questions
Can I install a head unit myself, or should I use a professional?
It depends on your technical skill level. Head units, wiring harnesses and fascia frames involve complexity — we strongly recommend professional installation to protect your vehicle and your investment.
Will installing a head unit affect my car's warranty?
Generally no, provided the installation does not damage original vehicle systems. Always review your warranty terms and consider consulting your dealer before making modifications.
Can modern head units work in older vehicles?
Yes — with the right wiring harness, antenna adapter and fascia frame, most older Australian vehicles can accept a modern CarPlay head unit. Contact our team to confirm compatibility.
My car isn't listed — can you still help?
We're constantly adding new guides. If your vehicle isn't listed, contact our team — we'll point you in the right direction.
