🔥 Upgrade Your Hilux N70 Without Fitment Issues

Installing a 9” head unit in your Toyota Hilux N70 (2012–2015) often requires modifying the factory AC and hazard switch to fit into the new fascia.

This guide walks you through the exact process used by Extnix, ensuring a clean, secure, and professional fit.

These guides are provided as a general reference only. Professional installation is recommended.

Before Start: Always Disconnect the Ground terminal of car’s battery before head unit installation

 2005-2011

  •  All three air-con knobs come out first.
  • Behind the middle knob, there is a small Philips screw, which needs to be removed – fascia will just pull out afterwards as 4 plastic tabs hold it.

2012-2015 (Both Manual AC and Digital Climat Control)

  •  4 Clips only hold frame and it just pops out – No air-con buttons require removing.

 Installation notes:

  •  Air vents from factory frame require relocation to the new frame
  •  Air vent moving knob hole may require slight trim if it is hard to move
  •  4 x Mounting clips require relocation to the new frame
  • Transfer the existing AC & Hazard switches from factory fascia to the new fascia. (Details below)
  • Please install the sticker last after frame is installed in the car. (Manual AC Models)
