Fitment — This unit suits Nissan Patrol Y61 GU Series Wagon 2004–2016 only. Not suitable for Y61 Ute or other body styles. Not sure about your build? Check your build plate or contact us with your VIN.

Reverse Camera — A new AHD reverse camera is included in every box. The factory reverse camera is not retained — the supplied camera connects directly to the new head unit.

Steering Wheel Controls — The Y61 GU Patrol Wagon does not have factory steering wheel controls, so no retention is required.

Eclipse Head Unit Models — Some Y61 GU models were factory-fitted with an Eclipse head unit incorporating an integrated reverse camera. Plug-and-play wiring harness is not available for these models. If you have an Eclipse unit, please contact us before ordering.

Does it support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? Yes — all tiers include fully wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. No cable needed.

Does the Y61 GU have steering wheel controls? No — the Y61 GU Wagon does not have factory steering wheel controls so this is not applicable.

Do I need to buy a reverse camera separately? No — a new AHD reverse camera is included in every box. The factory reverse camera is not retained, but the supplied camera is a direct replacement.

My Y61 has an Eclipse head unit — is it compatible? Unfortunately plug-and-play wiring is not currently available for Eclipse head unit models. Please contact us before ordering and we can advise on options.

What is the difference between Silver and Gloss Black? The unit and all specs are identical — the only difference is the fascia colour. Choose Silver or Gloss Black at checkout to match your Y61 interior.

Do I need to buy anything else? No — everything is included in the box. Your installer will need no additional parts.

What warranty is included? 36 months on all tiers (orders from 1 May 2026).

Is installation plug and play? Yes — the wiring is plug and play for all standard Y61 GU models. Professional installation is strongly recommended to avoid damage to your vehicle or the unit.

Does it support DAB+ radio? No — DAB+ is not built in. FM radio is supported on all tiers.

Does it come with pre-loaded navigation maps? No — the unit has a built-in GPS antenna port which works with navigation apps via Google Maps and Waze through CarPlay and Android Auto. No pre-loaded maps included.
