The Toyota LandCruiser Prado 150 Series (2018–2023) comes with a factory 8" infotainment system that lacks CarPlay, Android Auto and modern navigation. The Extnix 12.3" custom head unit changes all of that — with a screen 50% larger than factory, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seamless OEM-style fit designed specifically for the 2018–2023 Prado dash.

Fitment — This unit suits Toyota LandCruiser Prado 150 Series 2018–2023 GX and GXL variants only. VX and Kakadu models are not compatible. Not sure about your variant? Check your build plate or contact us with your VIN.

Reverse Camera — Your factory reverse camera is fully retained. The included factory camera retention kit connects directly to the new head unit — no replacement camera required.

Climate Control — The factory HVAC climate control panel fits perfectly and is fully retained. An optional digital display upgrade is available separately if desired.

Steering Wheel Controls — Factory steering wheel controls are retained on plug-and-play fitment for all compatible GX and GXL models.

Does it support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? Yes — fully wireless CarPlay and Android Auto built in. No cable or dongle needed.

Why is the screen 12.3" instead of 10"? This is a custom-designed unit built specifically for the 2018–2023 Prado dash opening. The 12.3" ultra-wide format fills the factory dash space completely, giving a factory-fitted appearance with no gaps or adaptors.

Will my factory steering wheel controls still work? Yes — steering wheel controls are retained plug-and-play on all compatible 2018–2023 GX and GXL models.

Will my factory reverse camera still work? Yes — the factory camera retention kit is included in every box. Your existing reverse camera will display through the new head unit automatically when reversing.

What happens to my climate control? Nothing — the factory HVAC climate control panel fits perfectly and is fully retained after installation. An optional digital display upgrade is available separately if you'd like to enhance it further.

Is my Prado VX or Kakadu compatible? Unfortunately not — VX and Kakadu variants use a different dash configuration and are not compatible with this unit. Please contact us and we can advise on alternatives.

Does it have built-in 4G? Yes — 4G is built in as standard with a 4G antenna included in the box. Supports live traffic via Google Maps and streaming apps through Android Auto and CarPlay.

What is the difference between this and the standard 10" Prado 2018–2023 unit? This unit features a larger 12.3" ultra-wide 1920×720 screen, built-in 4G as standard, and a custom fascia designed to fill the full factory dash opening. The standard unit is 10" and does not include 4G. Both retain the factory reverse camera and steering wheel controls.

Do I need to buy anything else? Everything for installation is included. The only recommended add-on is the Digital Climate Control Display — the factory HVAC panel cannot be reused after installation.

What warranty is included? 2 years warranty.

Is installation plug and play? Yes — the wiring is plug and play. We strongly recommend professional installation to avoid damage to your vehicle or the unit.

Does it support DAB+ radio? No — DAB+ is not built in. FM radio is supported.
