Fitment — This unit is designed specifically for Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series GXL and Altitude models from 2016–2021. It is not compatible with GX models (which use the earlier style dash), or VX and Sahara models fitted with the JBL factory amplified sound system. Not sure which variant you have? Contact us before ordering and we'll confirm fitment for you.
Reverse Camera — Select your preference at checkout: retain your existing factory reverse camera (retention kit included) or upgrade to a free AHD reverse camera (720p on Standard/Premium, 1080p on Ultimate).
FAQ
Q: Will this fit my LandCruiser 200 Series Sahara or VX? No — both the Sahara and VX use a JBL factory amplified sound system which requires different wiring that is not included with this kit. Contact us and we can advise the best solution for your variant.
Q: I have a GX — does this fit? No — the GX uses the earlier style dash shared with the 2007–2015 models. Head to our LC200 2007–2015 page for the correct unit.
Q: What's the difference between the Altitude and GXL in terms of fitment? The Altitude was offered from 2016–2017 as a GXL-based upgrade pack. It uses the same dash design and wiring, so this unit fits both variants perfectly.
Q: Does it connect to my phone automatically? Yes. After the initial USB setup, the unit connects automatically via Bluetooth every time you start the car — no cables needed for daily use.
Q: Can I keep my factory reverse camera? Yes — just select the factory camera retention option at checkout. The retention kit is included at no extra cost along with a wiring guide.
Q: What's the difference between Standard, Premium and Ultimate? Standard is ideal for everyday CarPlay and Android Auto use. Premium adds more RAM, storage and a sharper QLED 720p screen. Ultimate delivers the highest specs — 8GB RAM, 2K QLED 2000 x 1200 screen and a 4G SIM slot so you can stream and navigate without relying on your phone's hotspot. All three tiers include the same plug-and-play harness and fascia kit.
Q: Do I need to buy anything else to complete the install? No — everything required is included in the box. Fascia kit, wiring harness, reverse camera or retention kit, GPS antenna, USB cables, RCA cables, external microphone and power cable are all included.
