The PX Ranger uses a standard double DIN opening. Do I need a fascia kit for my Ford Ranger?
For most Ranger generations, yes — a fascia kit is required to mount a head unit cleanly into the dash. Will my steering wheel controls still work?
Yes. EXTNIX head units retain your factory steering wheel controls — volume, track skip, and phone answer all carry over. No separate steering wheel control module required for supported models.
Does my reverse camera still work after the upgrade?
Yes. Your factory reverse camera (if fitted) connects directly to the reverse camera input on your new EXTNIX head unit and triggers automatically when you select reverse. If your Ranger does not have a factory camera, EXTNIX reverse camera systems are fully compatible and can be added to your order.
Wireless CarPlay vs wired — which should I choose?
